Canopy Systems
Enclosed, semi-enclosed and motorised retractable options for year-round play.

Weather shouldn't decide when your venue can play.
Padel's growth in the UK has been shaped by one persistent challenge: weather. A canopy transforms a court from a fair-weather facility into a year-round asset, protecting bookings, revenue, and player experience regardless of the forecast. TB Premium Padel designs and installs canopy systems as a core part of our offering, not an afterthought.
What is canopy design & installation?
A padel canopy is a structural covering, ranging from fully enclosed to semi-enclosed to motorised retractable systems, engineered to protect the court from rain, wind, and sun while maintaining the playing conditions required for competitive padel. Canopy design involves structural engineering, material selection, and integration with the court itself, and can be specified as part of a new build or retrofitted to an existing facility.
The right canopy solution depends on the venue: footfall expectations, local climate exposure, planning considerations, and how the operator wants to use the space year-round all inform the right approach.
How TB Padel implements it
Custom-engineered solutions We don't apply a single canopy template across every site. Canopies are designed around the venue's specific requirements, whether that's maximising playability in a high-footfall commercial setting or providing flexible, semi-enclosed protection for a private club.
Full enclosure, semi-enclosure, or retractable systems Depending on climate exposure, budget, and how the space will be used, we specify and install fully enclosed structures, semi-enclosed systems, or motorised retractable canopies that open and close as conditions require.
New build integration or retrofit Canopies can be designed alongside a new court build from day one, or retrofitted to an existing court to extend its usability. Either way, we manage the structural and technical integration to ensure the canopy performs as intended.
Why this matters, and why it's a TB Padel USP
A canopy is often the difference between a court that generates revenue year-round and one that sits empty for months of the year. For operators, that's not a cosmetic upgrade, it's a direct commercial decision.
Because we manage canopy design and installation in-house, alongside court construction, clients don't need to bring in a separate specialist or manage the integration risk of two different contractors working on the same structure. It's one team, accountable for how the canopy and court work together as a single system.
The outcome
A canopy solution engineered for your venue's specific conditions and usage, whether newly built or retrofitted, that extends playable hours and protects your investment against the UK climate.
